“Very nice B&B with a very good location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2011

We stayed in Villa Caterina during September 2011 whilst touring northern Italy, we stumble across if after staying in a campsite just up the road and finding it didn’t meet our standards.

We were exceptionally pleased to have made the decision to move to a B&B and to have found Villa Caterina and the owners.
Right from the start we were made to feel welcome and at home, the rooms were clean and cool in the heat of the day, and warm at night when the air cooled down.

There were little touches, like umbrellas to use if you needed them during the sudden downpours that the area experiences. The breakfasts were very nice including the local Foccacia bread which, although salty, was very nice for breakfast.

We were both very happy to stay here and would definitely go back again if we were to visit the same area, the rate was reasonable £76 per night per room roughly, and the rooms clean and inviting.
The owner was very friendly and speaks near fluent English, MUCH better than my Italian!

We would both recommend this B&B to anyone!

We have stayed in Villa Caterina for 3 days in April 2011. It was a very pleasant experience, the owner is friendly and helpful. As it was already written, it is ideal place to stay, if you are travelling by car.

Would recommen this B&B to people who would like to visit the Cinque Terre or to people who would like to enjoy the beach and sunsets. It is outside the village but easily reachable by car or foot. It is clean, has a very nice garden and terras for breakfast and the owners are very nice. Vittoro speaks english. It is an Italian breakfast with faccacia and sweet croissant.

Villa Caterina is a very good B&B. We stayed her for 7 nights in june 2010. Vittorio,Helena and his parents are veru friendly. The rooms are very nice and clean. There is a beautiful garden where you can relax or to read a book. The house is in a quiet area, near the center and railwaystation. In the early morning you awake with the sound of the birds. When you want to go to the cinqueterre Villa Caterina is a perfect choise to stay!!

The villa built on a steep side of a hill a bit outside of Levanto centre has a very nice and cured garden with many possibilities to sit outside and enjoy the nature. It isn't located so far from the centre, but perhaps walking along the road for the first piece direction centre might be a bit uncomfortable becuase of the road. Ideal place to stay, if you are travelling by car, since it has a parking area. The rooms are big, the restrooms nice and clean. The kitchen and eating room are at free use of the guests after breakfast time. You may also occupy one level of the fridge with your own food. Even the living room of the villa may be used by the guests. The owner is very friendly and helpful. He is also the one serving breakfast, which is rich and good. Ideal place to stay for Levanto itself and if you are planning to visit from there the Cinque Terre.

In August 2009, we stayed 10 days in Villa Caterina, a B&B located 1,5 km from the center of Lèvanto, on a little hill.
The B&B invites you to relax on one of the several terraces around the house and to have a nice breakfast outside.
The rooms are very nice, very clean, have there own bathroom and we had the chance to stay in rooms with private access to the garden and our 'own' small terrace...
Vittorio (the owner) is super-friendly and does all he can to please his guests.
From the B&B you have a lot of walking-paths and with the train, it takes only a few minutes to reach one of the Cinque Terre-villages.

So : Cinque Terre is a superb region and if you need a place to stay, just stay at Villa Caterina (www.villacaterina.com) ! You won't be disappointed
