“Family trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

We stayed at the hotel for 1 week. The place is nice and the surroundings are beautiful. You can walk down to Lacco Ammeno from the Hotel, which is located on a hill. However if you have children I recommend a car, especially as the public transport on Ischia is very unreliable and terrible (when it does arrive).
The food was very nice and the staff friendly, ready to give you a lift to the beach, especially Gennaro.
Hotel is clean and we thank the staff for being flexible with the menu for our children.

Several small buildings in a fabulous orange and lemon tree garden above the village of Casamicciola. with a dramatic view towards the italian coast and, on a clear day, even the Abruzzi mountains, Small pools, open-air as weel as indoor, invite for a bath in the healing waters right there. Family-owned, home-made local dishes, quiet atmosphere and free rides to the coast. They also pick you up at the harbour on request.

Room Tip: Appaarently some of the rooms are looking towards rhe north, which is perfect during summer, but it...

Lovely location however a bit far from the beach- good bus connection though. Fantastic swimming pools and garden, really beautiful views but the greatest thing of all is the food- delicious and fresh. Compliments!

Stayed in this hotel for 1 week at the end of September. Small, family run hotel, good accomodation and very friendly staff, always ready to help. Excellent, typical Italian home cooking. Bit of a walk to the beaches but good local bus service.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2012

We stayed for 5 nights and had a very relaxing holiday. The highlight was the food that was some of the best food we have eaten in Italy. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from the town but there is a convenient bus and the staff were always happy to off a lift down the hill if required. There is live entertainment most nights which is quite loud so if you are not going to be staying up until midnight then ask for a room away for the bar.

I went to this hotel with the "Centro Ansiani" Marino,Rome. instead of being given a hotel room we were sent to some private residences 2km away and was supposed to walk to hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner , could be fine if young and healthy but not ealder and handicappied, we all left immediately and the owner also made us pay for the meal £15 per head
