Great hotel where we could relax and enjoy rest. Perfect breakfast, warm and clean poor with sea water, big and light room with great view, super Staff. I can recommend as the best place to forget about real life and to spend several days in paradise.

Room Tip: Rooms with terrace are great!

We stayed at Garden &Villas resort in May 2013. I was looking for a perfect place to celebrate my mother’s birthday on the island of Ischia. We love Ischia for its vegetation, surroundings and the landscape and this hotel perfectly reflects the philosophy of this beautiful green island. We booked a standard room and we got a lovely bungalow which was nestled in the garden. The room was very spacious and decorated very well with cosy furniture and had a large terrace. I was pleasant to be able to sit there at the end of a warm day and enjoy a glass of wine.
As for the food, we booked a half board because we would not rent a car or scooter. For only a few days stay we loved the idea of remaining at the resort. The food was absolutely fantastic. I read a lot about the quality of the "Corbezzolo" the hotel's restaurant. Once we were there and could make our own opinion it was even better than what we expected. We travel a lot for business and holidays and we really appreciate a nice cuisine. For diner three course meals were offered with a huge antipasti buffet. They had salads, fresh vegetables, fish or pizza. First course consisted of homemade pasta or risotto. Then second course offered the catch of the day, meat and also a vegetarian option. Last but not least desserts came from a trolley where one could choose form a large variety of amazing Neapolitan pastry. All the products came from Ischia, in order to respect the "kilometro zero" philosophy, which means to use only fresh and seasonal products.
For my mother's birthday I ordered flowers and as a surprise we also had a yummy birthday cake with candles. Sunday night was also a lucky night, because there was a music performance by Dino who sings Italian songs accompanied with his guitar.
Breakfast is very good as well. I lived for ten years in Italy and never saw a breakfast buffet like this one in an Italian hotel before. There was everything one could want: many different kinds of home made bread, cakes, brioches, fresh fruits, tomatoes, mozzarella, ricotta, fruit juices and also ham, sausages and eggs.

During the day we enjoyed the beautiful garden and the swimming pool area. The garden is wonderful; you can find so many different mediterranean plants and flowers, such as lemon and orange trees, lavender, roses, lilies and jasmine and there is also a little herb garden which the chef uses for his dishes. If you want to discover the island you can reach the Negombo beach and thermal park in 15 minutes walking distance. The tiny fisher village of Lacco Ameno is just ten minutes away but if you do not wish to walk you can always use the hotel's shuttle.

In a few words Garden & Villa Resort is "la dolce vita" guaranteed we had a lovely holiday and it is the ideal place to spend a peaceful holiday, enjoy fantastic Italian food and discover Ischia.

Grazie Mille Rita, Emilio, Francesco, Mario and all the lovely people who work at Garden & Villa resort. We will certainly come back!

It's all in the title!
A beautiful hotel, impeccable gardens and airy rooms. A really nice place to relax by the (naturally heated) pool, gorgeous breakfast buffet and delicious dinner menu.
We have such good memories of this hotel that we have just decided to spend almost a week this year in its sister resort (Therasia on Vulcano island), just to again have a good time and experience the quality.

Room Tip: 2 rooms are near the entrance, quite dark and noisy from the road and should be avoided. All others...

This was the second part of out Italian trip following a week at Lake Garda. We had never been to Ischia before but this was recommended to us by our travel agent.
They didnt let us down.
The hotel is made up from various villas around a large natural area. The room we had was excellent and worth the upgrade cost. We had a great view overlooking the small town and the Sea.
The room service was excellent.
We booked half board which included dinner. Initially we werent sure about just having a choice of three meals but if we really didnt like the look of anything they made us something else. The restaurant team were also excellent and very attentive.
We used Public transport to get around as it was so easy and very economical.
We would highly recommend the hotel for couples but not much to do here for families

Room Tip: I would invest in upgrading the room

Stayed over the last weekend in this little piece of heaven with a perfect weather. This hotel is located into a large mediterranean garden with any kind of exotic plants and flowers... every corner is filled with flowers and fruits and the smell in the air is paradisiac. Our gorgeous room was large, well appointed and extremely chic: nice furniture, huge bathroom, luxury amenities and a big lcd screen with all international channels. It featured a big but cozy patio and a charming private jacuzzi where to plunge after a day a the thermal park. The hotel pool is also very well appointed and olympic size with comfy loungers all around; we did enjoyed it very much. By the pool there is a very good restaurant where we had fabulous breakfasts in the morning: mozzarellas, pizzas, literally 13 types of bread and other local delicacies, wow !!!!
The hotel stands in a gentle hill between Lacco Ameno and Forio and you can use the hotel shuttle to go into town. Finally the staff. They are the best... I remeber in particular Diego and Elena who gently asked my questions and sorted out any request we had including eccelent restaurant recommandations.A special thank to Rita, the owner, who was so charming and caring to us. So a great holiday with great people !!!!

Room Tip: they have a spa at reasonable prices but book far in advance it is always busy

We had a fabulous time staying at Garden & Villas Resort, the room was beautiful and kept in immaculate condition thoughout our stay. Pool and garden areas are very relaxing and well looked after. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant on each day of our stay and both quality of food and wine list were very good and staff very attentive. This hotel was one of three at which we stayed on the island and was by far the best, I would be happy to recommend it to anyone.
