“Sweets wonderland - 美味しいケーキに囲まれて”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013 via mobile

"Delizia al limone" was not too sweet thanks to a hint of lemon & limoncello, the local specialities.
The coffee time at Sal de Riso was a pleasure with so many choices while waiting SITA bus to Salerno (Bus stop is located across the street).
You can even find some good souvenir for your family, friend and yourself.
A bit heavy to carry, but "Baba al limoncello" was so tasty souvenir to serve with Vanilla icecream.
May worth for the sweet-thoothed to stop over on your way to Amarfi - Salerno by bus, even if you are not staying at Minori.

“if I had just one thing to eat as a last request”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

If I had one thing to eat as a last request it would be the Sfogliatelle at Sal De riso. It was heaven, warm, crunchy , light. WOW it was truly an explosion of taste. We also got the Dolci de amalfi, which we brought back to the states,, when we ate it we were back on the Amalfi Coast.

“Birthday cake”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

They made the most beautiful and very tasty lemon sponge birthday cake for my parents 60th. Warning: most cream cakes need to be in a fridge as they are stuffed full of cream. It was expensive at 45 Euros but exquisite, never seen anything like it in the UK. The chef owner is apparently a famous TV star

“Great desserts, poor service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

This place was heaven for us for breakfast. We did not like the breakfast at our hotel and happily found out this pasticceria. They have a variety of focaccia sandwiches and delicious desserts. Try out the "baba", such a lovely taste. We stayed 3 days in Maiori and came to this plece everyday.

The only downside is the poor service. The waitors seemed to be bored and did not care much about customers. But after a long trip in different parts of Italy, I realized that the service in general is poor in the country. So, poor service should not be a deterrent for you to try out Sal de Riso.

“Lunch at Sal de Riso”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Stopped there for a sandwich and a glass of wine. They served a nice selection of olives, nuts and crackers too. Unfortunately our selection of sandwiches were not very good. When I went inside to use the washroom I noticed they had gelato and all sorts of desserts that looked very good, but we were too full to try them.
