We visited this small town recently and Il Giardiniello was recommended to us by a local in the next town over. It was a quiet Tuesday afternoon and our little party of five hungry travelers sat down for a "small bite to eat." Two and one-half hours later, after several appetizers, fisherman's stew, and excellent desserts, we were ready to walk back to our hotel in the next town over. Eating in the courtyard under the grape vines and being treated warmly by the staff that spoke English, made the entire meal memorable. It's funny, but all of us agreed that we could never sit still for 2 and one-half hours at lunch back home which is why we love visiting Italy.
