“Wonderful views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

We ended the walk in Positano, better to do it that way around as you then end with walking down 1,500 steps rather than walking up them! Stunning scenery.

“Exhilarating Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

Described everywhere as 'easy', it can still be challenging to the unfit and while you don't need to hold onto rocks as you climb, you most definitely need to watch your step as you clamber over the rocky 'steps' along the path. I read about starting from various places including Positano and Bomerano. We decided not to climb the 900 odd steps up to the mountain top but to conserve our energy by getting a local bus from Positano to Nocelle. We didn't regret it especially as we walked down from Bomerano to Priano. Walking up may give a sense of accomplishment but the real thrill is the panoramic views from the top. Make sure at all costs when in Bomerano to visit Pub Crazy Burger and don't be put off by the name, it's a fabulous place for lunch with great organic food and genuine warmth.

“A beautiful way to enjoy the views!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2013

My husband and I took the trail from Nocelle. We took the bus from Positano and it was a simple way to get up to the trailhead. The views are gorgeous and the trail not too difficult, even for us. Make sure to take water and wear good hiking shoes. This was one of the highlights on our visit to Positano.

“Breathtaking views and a walk that takes your breathe away!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2013

We started the walk from Montepertuso and walked up to Bomerano a great hike a little difficult at times but worth it for the views . Just stop and take a photo and have a drink of water every now and then to make the experience more enjoyable Wear good shoes as the path is quite uneven in parts From Bomerano we backtracked a bit and went down to the Monastery above Praiano which was very beautiful and the walked down to Praiano itself , had a gelato to celebrate the experience and then got the bus back to Positano we had a guide who took us called Paolo he was recommended to us by our B&B in Montepertuso he is local to the town and his knowledge and passion for the " Path " made it all the more enjoyable

“Most scenic hike”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 4, 2013

The views were spectacular. I recommend starting in Bomerano and working back to Nocelle, not the other way around if you want to do the whole hike. It took us about 2 1/2 hours with lots of stops for photos, but getting back from Bomerano on a Sunday was challenging and ultimately expensive. However, our little.unch there at La Primavera deli and store was exquisite and ridiculously fresh, the people kind and we saw Amalfi when we had not expected to. It was fun. If you enjoy hiking, this is a must do!
