“Breathtaking view!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

The hike was more than 2 hours and hard at times, but completely worthwhile. The variety of native plants and flowers, the beauty of the vistas, the fine air and the bright colors all wrapped our senses and made us appreciate even more the final destination: a family trattoria where "nonna" prepares pasta and so many good dishes with their own produce.
Better if you go with an enviromental guide who will help you appreciate the natural beauty and the history of the place.

“Do in winter.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

This path was sweet, but only because we were fit enough for the 1746 stairs up at the beginning and down at the end. You can also take the bus, cutting out the stairs at both ends. The views are fantastic on a clear day. Do this in winter. It was 10 degrees C and sunny on December 23rd, 2012. Perfect weather. In 30 degree heat this walk would be a death march.

“The top of amalfi coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 10, 2012 via mobile

The trek is the best thing we did in this area. The view is fantastic . Ask for the trek map in the b&b all around. Follow the red/white sign along thru way. To whom who dont want to use the steps down to poditsno invest in finding the right place in the village above were the bus is. We did not and found yourself go down by the more then 1000steps.

“Hiking Heaven”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

This is a must do for hikers. Its relatively easy walk with some slightly strenuous stretches. If you are not fit do not attempt the 3000 steps leading to the trail from Positano. There are alternatives. Grab the bus to Amalfi and start the hike there. The views along the way are remarkable. You feel like you are looking down from the clouds (Thus the name) onto the gorgeous cliffs and coast.
