“Warm welcome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

We stayed in August for five days and we never felt bored. We had the warmest welcome and our hosts helped us every day with some advice on what to do and where to go.
The room was immaculately clean.
Agerola is one of the best places to stay although it is a bit far from the coast. However, it offers amazing views over the coast. Every time you go down or up you'll notice different stunning scenery.

Our family of 5 spent two days at Roberto's family bed and breakfast. The converted home is lovely with a nice patio to sit and relax. The breakfasts are amazing feasts of local produce and delicious Italian breads. It's an easy bus ride up from Amalfi, take the bus labeled Agerola and stop in the town of Bomerano. Roberto is very helpful with information about the local area, and sis a great host. We would definitely go back and wish we had spent a few more days in the area

Perfect, amazing stay with the most wonderful hosts imaginable! Beautiful luxurious lodging, hosts that go above and beyond to an unbelievable degree to make sure guests have a phenomenal time. After a 2 week trip in Italy, it was very easy to say that my stay here was the highlight of my trip when I returned.

We stayed here only one night and wished we had stayed longer! More than anywhere else in Italy, here we felt welcomed and the owners truly went out of our way to assist and orient us. We walked the Path of the Gods, following Roberto and Alessandro's great advice about logistics (left our car at the hotel, hiked down to Positano through Nocelle and Montepertuso, took the ferry from Positano to Amalfi, then bus right back to the hotel to get the car). Their father--perhaps because we had our teenage children, or perhaps because he is a wonderful man anyway!--showed us his garden, had the rider of his horse show how the horse can do tricks, and even took us to a spectacular viewpoint at night. For breakfast, Geraldo made a delicious lemon cake, and other typical food of the area. We ate outside on the patio with tablecloths and fresh flowers on the tables. Everything about the hotel is thoughtful and well-done. The rooms, as others have said, are named for artists (we had Salvador Dali and Gustav Klimt) and decorated accordingly, as in a modern boutique hotel. The hotel is an amazing value, and we found it a relief from the tourist crush in Positano, Sorrento, Amalfi, and other places we had been (Cinque Terre, etc.). Here we truly felt like we were staying in a neighborhood, hosted by new friends, and we ended up learning more about the area than we would have otherwise. If you are thinking about hiking the Path of the Gods, stay here. If you don't want the tourist crush, stay here. If you want great hospitality, stay here. As others have said, there is not a view right from the hotel, but you get a greater sense of the geography and the people by traversing the hills by bus (recommended) or car (possible but terrifying!) or on foot, so your experience will be deeper here. We have wonderful memories of our stay in Agerola thanks to Roberto, Alessando, and Geraldo. Many thanks.

Saluti Geraldo, Katerina, Roberto & tua fidanzata e Alessandro!
We have just spent a whole week at Nido Verde and we have to say that was perfect. Geraldo, his wife Ekaterina and sons Roberto, Alessandro (there is Francesco too but lives in Milano) manage excellent the small family hotel B&B called Nido Verde. And Geraldo - wow - cooks delicious pastries and tiramisu. Everything was good, the room, the breakfast and mostly and very important that you feel home. They also recommended the family restaurant Picchio Rosso were we eat the best food ever eat in Italy, owned by Mario and his family. Saluti Mario e tutti la famiglia!
We highly recommend this location for spending holidays at Costiera Amalfitana. Is easy to reach every point of the Amalfi Coast, there are a lot of buses.

Anca & Florindo *:) happy

P.S. I made a mistake about the pool but doesn`t matter

Family owned small hotel. Highly recommended. Roberto (the owner), his father Gerardo, and his brother Allesandro were all very friendly and accommodating. All speak English. The hotel is more like a big B&B than a hotel. It is the original family property and a small apartment building renovated into a hotel in 2007. Great garden. Good breakfast--Gerardo is a retired pastry chef and he cooks pastries and bread for the guests every day. The hotel is close to everything in the little town of Bomerano (restaurants, markets, etc). The bus stops right out front of the ghotel for those coming without wheels. Hiking trails, including the Trail of the Gods, start just up the street. Amalfi and Positano are only a 20 minute drive or bus ride. Bomerano is quiet and inexpensive and much less commercialized in contrast to those two glittering jet-set towns on the water. Looking for peace, nature, and reasonable prices on the Amalfi Coast and Monti Lattari region? This is it. The property is even part of the EcoWorldHotel association dedicated to sustainability. My wife Linda and I planned to stay 3 days and we extended to five because it was so comfortable, pleasant, and affordable; plus it makes a great base for endless hiking in the mountains and canyons. The best hiking we've experienced so far in Italy, except for the Dolomite Alps, which are tops for us. Don't miss the Trail of the Gods and then towards Amalfi the Valle delle Ferriere. But that's only 2 of 14 marked trails in the area.

Room Tip: The rooms are named after famous artists. We recommend the Dali room on the top floor at the end: mo...

I suggest Il "Nido verde" to everyone want to spent their holidays in a very unique and warm environment: great service, cleanliness, wide rooms, privacy, awesome breakfast in the garden. I found a family italian environment as well as competence, willingness to accommodate my needs: transport and restaurant tips rather then availability to book several services for me. On top of it the Hotel "Il nido verde is located few minutes on walk from the Path of the Gods: the most breath-breaking landscape I've ever seen in my life, hanging over the Amalfi Coast. Moreover buses for the main venues and location like Amalfi and Pompei are just a stone throw.

Room Tip: Warhol room: cozy, wide loft
