Beata Solitudo stands for its name: blessed peace awaits you there in beautiful surroundings.Owners Annamaria and Paulo are the most organized hosts we have met anywhere recently, ready to provide you with photocopied timetables, maps of walks or a book on local history if you happen to be interested, as well as with practical advice. We had a bungalow, so were self-sufficient, which is easy with the small shops all around the main square. Buses run on time from Agerola but you may find it difficult to get back from Amalfi: when a bus is full-up, it leaves before time. Taxidrivers like ripping you off: the man we hired offered the ride Amalfi - S. Lazarro for 90 euros , he rounded that up to a hundred when we got in, and at the end refused to take us any longer than the first street in Bomerano.
Anyhow, this is about the campsite and it's superb!
