“found a hair in my food, was turned off... yuck”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2010

I really didn't like this place, I felt as their menu was a little lacking. Tried one of their specials and found a hair in my food. The waitress tried to pawn it off as a grill brush bristle, but last time I checked they weren't curly. Our friends say they have good pizzas, but I really wasn't feeling this place. Once you find a hair in your food it kinda turns you off and you lose your appetite. My wife wasn't amazed at the pasta dish she got and explained it was average, but she was not pleased with the service even after complaining about the curly hair in my food.

“Great value and great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2009

Totally satisfied with our stop here. Our server (Heather) was wonderful. Ok, it was late and they were not busy but she let us try a couple items before ordering. The food was very good and AMPLE! Wine selection was pretty impressive at decent prices.

“Best Italian in Newport News since Carmella's Closed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 7, 2009

Knowledgeable well trained staff can help you select your meal. Food is well preparred and seasoned. Generous portions allow us to have the 2nd half for dinner/lunch the next day. Usually busy, so it can be a bit loud. In the Outback family of restaurants: Outback, Bonefish, Cheeseburger in Paradise.
