Went to VLM | Bodies Revealed - Virginia Living Museum
http://www.thevlm.org/Bodies_Revealed.aspx {Ended 9-2-2013}

"Bodies Revealed Exhibition" was an "amazing look into the human body". Looked deep inside the systems of the human body: Skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, digestive... interesting.

The VLM's restored outdoor 3/4-mile elevated estuary boardwalk loops across Deer Park Lake and through 10 acres of woods and creeks with animals such as river otters, beavers, bobcats, coyotes, deer and wild turkeys living in natural habitats. The estuary boardwalk could be an "educational role-model" for other areas of the USA, demonstrating the value of watershed wetlands for wildlife in or near an urban environment. Very Nice! http://www.thevlm.org/HurricaneIsabel.aspx

“Kids LOVED the Living Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2013

We traveled to the Virginia Living Museum while visiting Williamsburg on a family vacation. Our two granddaughters LOVED this place! They are very young and usually are bored with an attraction after an hour but we stayed at the museum for over 4 hours and our 6 year old still didn't want to leave. There are so many indoor and outdoor exhibits to see and touch, a great museum cafe with made to order meals for lunch or a snack, and a museum store with reasonable prices so a family could spend a whole day there. Our granddaughters were especially interested in the outdoor play area, children's garden, and native wildlife in natural settings. The museum is also very clean which is great when you have little children. I would recommend the Virginia Living Museum, you won't be disappointed!

“Virginia Living Museum”

This is a wonderful museum. I just attended a showing of "Bodies Revealed" and was amazed at what we look like inside. This museum has a great animal attraction, too. Like a small zoo. They are doing a great job.

“A yearly trip for my family!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

I think that the Virginia Living museum is a must see attraction to see while we go camping at Cherrystone campground. We have gone every year for the past 4 years and still enjoy it as much as the first time. The museum is always clean, the exhibits always are exciting to see, and the staff is very courteous and informative. They always explain in detail what the animals are and help the kids when it comes to the things they are allowed to touch. Every year they have a new exhibit to explore in the front, from dinosaurs, butterflies, to this year which was the human body. My children are very young and their attention is always kept

“Everyone loved it, kids, adults, everyone!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

It was raining outside, and we had asked the front desk at the Country Inn for a good place to take the kids. The living museum hit the spot! Everyone loved it, from the 2 year olds to the 50 year olds :) . The aquarium was awesome!
