“Amazing food and great atmosphere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2014

The food and wine selections are incredible. Top notch service and attention paid to the customer. Quaint and personal. Pricy but an excellent choice for a special night out.

“Cozy, charming, delicious”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2014

Went with my wife and 2 other couples for dinner. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. They even have foie gras! We'll definitely be repeat customers.

“Disappointed”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

We were looking forward to a Valentine lunch at Pearl. The restaurant was full and we had to wait about 20 minutes - we did not mind since we had heard that the food was great. The wait staff were very pleasant but they did not seem to be prepared for the volume of customers and several of the menu options were not available. We both opted for a filet mignon/lamb blended hamburger. The meal came with bland mashed potatoes and the burger was on an overly buttered french bread with soggy lettuce and one very slim slice of tomato. The meat was over salted and overly spiced. Very disappointing....we will not return. Too bad - the area could use another good French restaurant.

“Food from France”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2014

Valentine Dinner at Pearl was almost like returning back to Paris for an evening. The four course pre fixe offered a good variety of beef and seafood for appetizers and entrees. My wife loved the country onion soup for the starter. This creamy soup was the highlight of her dinner. I most enjoyed my entree of tenderloin and large lobster medallions. The ingredient combinations were just right.

The atmosphere was a bit lacking. We were not in the main room and lights were bright until we asked for them to be turned down. The room was loud with just a few tables. The strolling guitar player was good and clearly enjoyed by many but for us it was in contrast to a quiet french dinning experience.

The service was very attentive and friendly and the chef appeared a few times to ensure we enjoyed our meal.

If you are looking for high quality, fresh food with a creative flair this is among the best we've eaten stateside.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

Pearl had been highly recommended to us, so we were looking forward to our first visit. Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to the hype. We should have been tipped off immediately when we entered the main dining room. The atmosphere was uninviting, and the food that followed was just "okay". The portions were small and some of the food tasted reheated. Only two other tables were occupied, and that was on a night when it should have been filled with diners going to a nearby concert.
