I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was reasonably priced and in a great location. What I enjoyed most was the hot buffet breakfast and the indoor pool. The hotel offers a map of the area. My check in went great. The lady who does the breakfast is outstanding and should be commended.

We were given a 'suite'. I was the most run down room I have ever seen. The nicest thing I can say about the room was that I didn't see any roaches, but I was sure I would. I am assuming they have more recently renovated rooms, like maybe the ones they show you online, but our room had furniture the Salvation Army would have turned down. Old TV's, insufficient lighting, horrible pillows, no extra blankets, bathroom so small you had to open the door to dress.

The pool, advertised as the largest in the area, is pretty small & was naturally out of order when we arrived... 4th of July w/e. No restaurant & the breakfast bar was borderline.. Our 2ed & thankfully last day a women that works there stopped me from taking coffee & toast back to the room. Really! "You can't take food out of here". While she was stopping me her friends were walking out with trays of stuff. She was less than nice & not at all professional. Really, toast?

Our "suite' has a fridge, small dishwasher & stove, micro, coffee maker that didn't work, toaster that did, one cup, one glass, 2 plates & exactly 5 pieces of silverware. No pots, pan, dish soap, etc. The couch was very uncomfortable & dirty. The carpet so filthy you left tracks on the white tile of the tiny bathroom & even the concrete outside.

Staff was 50-50.. very nice here & totally uncaring & rude there.

It is NOT IN CITY CENTER. Maybe 2 miles away. There is a nasty Budget motel right next door & a Waffle House on the other side. We were concerned about our safety. Not a good neighborhood. Lots of unsavory people walking around late at night & people peeping in our windows 3X that I saw.

Spend the extra $$ & go somewhere else. If they have the nerve to rent such a horrible room & fuss about coffee & toast, then you are definite not in good hands.

Room Tip: If you absolutely have to stay here make sure they give you a newly renovated room. I'd ask to...

This hotel is gross. The curtains were hanging off the broken rod, dead bugs on the floor, old tv, cheap indoor outdoor carpet, bedding was as thin as tissue paper, the bathroom was not clean. Soap scum in the tub along with this nasty tub Matt that was dirty and peeling up. We left immediately.

Hotel is older but was very clean for our visit. The king room was substantially bigger than the double. We stayed in the tower portion of the hotel. The front desk staff were very polite! The toiletries were very cute - even including mouthwash - and were Bath and Body Works brand, even the soap! Breakfast was yummy and diverse and was offered until 10 a.m. Loved the touch of cold water in the lobby.
The location to Williamsburg is great - just about 15 minutes to Busch Gardens. The trip to the beach was about 45 minutes, depending on the atrocious traffic and construction slow down.

Room Tip: King size room!

From the outside the place looks like a run down motel. My kids were getting a little upset until they walked in. A little update to the outside is greatly needed. The interior looks welcoming and clean. The cleaning solutions odor is not the best but not the worse either. The front desk staff were both very friendly and the room maintenance were very welcoming and seemed to take pride in their work. The pool area is okay. It was in the 90's outside and the pool area was about 105 degrees. The pool water was warm as well..not hot as a Jacuzzi but more of a cooled down bath water temp. My kids didn't mind and neither did I since you didn't get that " Im freezing" feel getting in or out of the water. Just a little different than what we're use to. Overall we enjoyed the stay. Oh yes,Only one device can use the wifi at a time.

Room Tip: If its possible make sure you dont get a room in the motel looking area of the hotel.

Walked in the lobby and it had an indescribable odor that stayed in my clothes. The front desk lady was pleasant and professional. The same cant be said for the other staff. A maintenance person and a person behind the desk made sexual comments about a female guest within hearing distance of my wife. Driving through the parking lot there were at east 5 people just hanging around in the parking lot. There was a car on blocks being worked on. The room was dark and dingy. I refused to stay at this dump and took my family elsewhere. When I emailed the company I never received a return email. DO NOT stay here, un book your reservation.

Room Tip: Go somewhere else

Purchased a 3-star Secret Hot Rate through Hotwire and was assigned this hotel. This is an older facility, but has been maintained. The facility looks as if it has been added onto through the years. The buildings on the front and right side are exterior entrance motel rooms and the rooms off the right of the lobby and adjacent to the pool are interior corridor rooms. We stayed in the 2-story interior corridor building adjacent to the pool. In addition to ice and a soda machine in vending area were 2 sets of washers & dryers. The room was clean and nicely appointed.

We stayed in the Holiday Inn (HI) two weeks earlier. Since it is a comparable 3-star hotel directly across the street, I'm going to compare the two:

1. HI had a digital thermostat, PPS had a control knob on the unit.
2. PPS had a nice ice bucket and 4 glass old-fashion glasses, like HI.
3. PPS had a standard definition box TV, whereas HI had a high definition flat screen.
4. Both had a refrigerator/microwave combo.
5. Both has an in room coffee maker, but PPS had only foam cups.
6. Both hotels have full beds. PPS beds were soft and comfortable. HI beds were firm pillow-top. My personal preference was PPS.
7. Both had a large comfortable easy chair.
8. Both had large clean bathrooms. PPS had the same type of shower head as HI and had better water pressure.

Unlike HI, breakfast was included. It was comparable to the HI fare and was very good. Unlike HI, which had real plates and silverware, PPG had plastic utensils and foam plates. The breakfast room is very large and seats around 80 people.

The hotel has an indoor pool. There were at least 1 middle school baseball team and 1 middle school basket ball team staying at the hotel. The pool was full of rowdy kids and partying adults the night we arrived, so we steered clear. I went to the pool Sunday morning for a swim, but a sign on the door stated "Temporarily out of order". The hotel has a nice workout room with treadmill, stationary bike, free weights and weight bench.

For the same price, I'd pick HI over PPS, however overall, the stay was nice and we would stay there again.
