We had a late night in and early morning out flights from Newport News and found this Comfort Inn very convenient (right around the corner) to the airport, and easy on/off the freeway (64). It was clean, nice staff, and had a good breakfast selection. Also convenient to a major mall, pubs, and restaurants. The only negative I can think of was the bathroom was extremely small, but not a big deal for us. Might be for some older or handicap folks. All around nice stay.

This was our 3rd or 4th stay. We keep going back because the location is excellent (near family, but beside the Mall) and everything is always top notch! We had our daughter's small dog one night. You'd never know there were other pets there. We will be back!

Great location that made traveling to several different baseball fields for a weekend tournament, plus right next to a mall to entertain the team. Had a better than average breakfast - much more than you usually get. The room was comfortable & clean. The only thing that was wrong was the laundry room. Its a very large hotel and only 2 washers - one was broken. In the middle of my 2nd load, the washer broke. The staff went out of there way to help me by taking the wet laundry to the hotel facility to finish. Our baseball team was able to go on the field the next day in clean & dry ballpants! Just beware, the doors are heavy & slam closed.

Stay at this Comfort Inn regularly as my daughter attends Christopher Newport University, which is nearby. Hotel is convenient to several places to eat. Average rooms and amenities (complimentary breakfast). Hotel rooms are pricey in this area, and the value of this hotel is about average.
