“First time at Parc Alpin”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

We got lucky. A great crowd with a friendly couple of Welsh Ski Wizards helping with advice on ski technique. Much appreciated all round. The rooms are huge (at least ours was). A walk-in wardrobe! Two loos (one of which worked). Very comfortable though. Food was good and the wine plentiful. My non-skiing wife enjoyed the pool and and I enjoyed Ian's ski hosting. There were alot of us (14 at times) and it can't have been too easy keeping a check on all of us. Fortunately those with a little more expertise were generous with their waiting and those (a bit older), scrambling to arrive around the middle of the mob were delighted for a rest whilst waiting for the others! A great holiday and a handy place to park the car if you self-drive. Thanks Robin for helping us to get out at the end of the week.

We recently spent a week here with our 3 teenage kids skiing and holidaying.
The chalet is lovely with a big living room ,great size bedrooms and a cosy dining room.
Half board is included in cost with yummy breakfast and 4 course dinner(not to mentions delicious afternoon tea and canapes .)
The position is convenient near to the bus stop not quite ski in/out.Local village is a 10 min walk down the hill.
The chalet staff were amazing with Robyn the manager/chief and all the girls so helpful with everything from skiing to food to transfers.
A great place to stay with a wonderful atmosphere!

Room Tip: Try and get a room looking out towards to mountain not towards the back street.

Thought it was great last year but this time food better, welcome warmer and so was the pool. Better dining arrangement promotes better mixing if its not all one group and the Staff are great, Robin and Emma being a consistent presence from last year. Wish they did short breaks as thinking of going back to Meribel in March

I was in a group of 12 people who chose to go here for the Christmas week, we apprehensive of what the chalet would be like but we werent disappointed. The rooms were warm spacious and comfortable. The food was gorgeous, it was a treat every night having restauant quality meals in the comfort of the chalet. Pre dinner drinks and canapes were lovely, generous quantity of good quality wines with meals, as much as you wanted, nothing was too much trouble for the hard working, friendly staff. We were in walking distance of the slopes and the ski bus was just round the corner. Passes were organised by the chalet staff and delivered to us very quickly, we even had the services of a ski host who showed us where the best ski slopes were for our different abilities. Even though the airline gave us a nine hour delay and lost one of our suitcases, the olympic ski team managed to say and do all the right things at the right time. Offers of clothing from the staff and staying up till 11 at night to feed and water us just made our stay worthwhile. Thanks to Robin, Claire, Katie, Emma, Gabby, and hosts Ian and Clare you were amazing!

We were a little wary to say the least when, as a party of 12, read the previous reviews for this chalet before we arrived for xmas week! I am delighted to report that from the moment we arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful! Thanks to Monarch Airlines, we had a nine hour delay and one of our suitcases missing for the whole week! But, even though it was very late, the chef had a three course meal waiting for us, with a very welcome, very decent french wine! Our rooms were massive compared to most chalets and the food was fab! What really made our xmas away was of course the staff, and also the efforts that Ski Olympic made with the delay etc.. We are very fortunate to have at least two ski holidays every season and I can really recommend this one! Lovely Xmas, lovely chalet and best of all - lovely staff! Thank you Robin and co!!

Lovely room, great view, delightful staff, pool a bit chilly, food ok, wine good, dining room a bit small, overall a good experience. Bit of a walk to slopes but excellent bus service and plenty going on in the area.
