My son and husband went to this restaurant and were so impressed that we went as a family two days later. It was not easy to find decent fare, good service, and some novelty on the mountain in the Trois Valllee but this one made an impression. When you enter, you are greeted by very pleasant and helpful staff. They have ample room for skiers and the " ski stuff" (ie baskets that you can pull down and put your helmets, gloves, etc.). Next you are given a small glass (shot size) of either hot chocolate or vin chaude and a small appertif. This is very unique in the ski valleys in France. We have never been given these unique treats before and it sets them apart (especially with the kids!). We had their lasagna which was really yummy (it comes with a nice salad). Last of all, their dessert menu is amazing, especially for a mountain restaurant. Fresh gourmet delights. Their cafe gourmand includes 2 slices of the amazing tarts (rasberry or blueberry), or you can chose between a triangle chocolate (3 dfifferent types of chocolate), lemon meringue, toblerin tart, etc. That was the best part of the meal - just deciding on the desserts! Please go there and give them your patronage. You will definitely be greeted at some point during your meal by the owner who is very sweet. Enjoy!
