“a tradition”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013

we've eaten here twice - 2011 and 2013. the outdoors setting is lovely in the summer, indoors is also good, the staff are attentive (by french standards) and the food is, well, ok.

“Great Atmosphere, good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Went here twice on our two week visit, due to the friendliness of the staff and the good food. Sat out on the Terrace both times, which had a really buzzy atmosphere. The food was lovely I especially like the set menu with the Tomato tartar and the little filo parcel with goat's cheese, which were both lovely. The staff were great, very friendly and chatty, even though they were always very busy. It is a great casual relaxed restaurant with good no nonsense food.

“Tasty and value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2013

Sitting on the cosy terrace, under the trees with nice lighting put an extra value to the friendly service and the tasty food. A place where the locals meets, which also adds to the atmosphere. We both chose a 3 course from the menu and got rich amounts in all three courses. i especially liked the lamb/eggplant casserole even if it may have been a little overcooked.

“Nice if unspectacular lunch, beautiful view”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2013

Sitting on the terrace allows you to enjoy a fabulous view of the valley below, the mountains in the distance, the nearby village of Lacoste. The food is adequate. The salad I had with ham was large, but some of the ham pieces were thick and chewy. The special was a tuna steak, which was just OK, although the accompanying carrots were quite good. A small carafe of local rosé was excellent and a bargain.
