The first time we tried to eat here it was full, I'm so glad we persevered and returned. In fact we ate here twice. There's no view as it is tucked down a side street- look out for the Cinema ( no longer open) sign- but other things make up for that. The decor is fun, mismatched cloths and retro plates, Edith Piaf sings and the service is friendly and helpful. What you go here for though are the oysters, there's a big choice and the waiters will explain them and help you choose. There are other dishes: more seafood, charcuterie, try the Fagots Retaise perhaps, and some cooked and cured fish dishes but DO eat the oysters here, whatever the month.
