“Watching the sun set was a bonus.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

This is a smart place with a wine waiter who sports and George Clooney beard and a smooth manner! Come here for proper food and service and expect to pay for it - but actually why not?

“Expensive and questionable food”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2013

We tried this as a special treat as it has a lovely setting and they have done out the place very nicely. The set menu of €45 is substantially higher than any other restaurant in the marina area. We could not tell what the €20 premium per head was for? The oysters were served with a pork ball in the middle which just did not work. The swordfish steaks were raw in parts and then cooked solid grey in others and the flavours and textures just did not mix. The cod was tiny and uneven and served with Smash potato. On top of this the seating outside is very exposed and they seem to refuse to put up more windbreakers despite being right out on the corner of the marina where the wind really picks up at sun down (little did we know). We left €200 poorer and utterly freezing (this seemed to be a common issue for other couples on the terrace). No-one asked how we enjoyed our meal. Tedious experience

“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

Went for lunch, fixed price for two courses..... Fantastic staff & service! My husband had oysters which he said were amazing, I had raw salmon with crime fraud he and beautiful tomatoes, then we both had the steak which was amazing! Great setting, a must visit!

“Maitre de table with an attitude”

Good food but quite pricey and poor service. We had our son of 12 with us but they were not willing to arrange for some more child friendly menu for him.

“Outdoor Dining”

Great Restaurant around the corner in the Harbour. It serves excellent food, but can be windy as it's corner location is alittle exposed! Go there anyway!
