This campsite is ideally located near the centre of the island which means that you can pretty much cycle around the whole island within a few days. The campsite itself is well laid out with some great pitches mostly shaded with hedges which keep out the wind and provide privacy. The facilities are basic but very clean, although we were a little surprised that the toilets had no seats, just the porcelain bowl, however we soon got used to it! There is a games room, TV room and outdoor playing area for kids and a small snack bar. The snack bar didnt seem to be open much when we were there, however it was September so not high season.
The beach was a 5 minute walk, accross the main road and was beautiful and very clean. I can imagine it can be pretty busy during high season.
The cycle paths run along the back of the campsite and there is a gate to access them. When we were there they were farily quiet, but again I can imagine they are very bsuy during summer months.
I would definitely recommend camping Puma to anyone who wants a taste of typical French camping life, without and frills and masses of British owned static caravans. There were some static homes on the site available for rent, they looked nice but we did not see inside.
