I stayed there late July for 4 nights. There was no choice but to book half board.
Considering this you would have thought they would be skilled and experienced with their restaurant.
There was very little choice for dinner. It was either what they had for the night - mostly seafood - or a steak of mediocre quality. If you didn't like what was being served you also had to put your request for the steak ( which is the default other choice always) you had to do it at breakfast by 1030! Dont know how many people who really know what they feel like eating on the day - you are on holiday after all. 2 nights out of 4 - I neither wanted what they offered or the steak. They do have a buffet before the main course so if you are hungry you will have to go back to the appetiser table. Desserts were also a copout - very basic and considering this was France was so banal.
Breakfasts at the hotel were a nightmare. They have the food on a linear table at one side of the room. Therefore there was always a queue for something. The fresh orange juice was the worst - little kids wanting to have a go at squeezing oranges with the electric juicer and the weary parents who were too tired to care. People on holiday mode with no awareness and blocking 2 food stations creating more of a backlog and only one server who was putting food out and serving and also cleaning up which meant basically no service. Coffee was also insipid - made american cafe coffee seem delicious. IN fact, the breakfast was so dreary and not worth waiting for that the last day i avoided it all together and went into town and paid for another separate breakfast.
The pool which is much smaller than in pictures is also right in the middle of the dining area. Therefore if you want to go for a morning swim or a late afternoon/ early evening swim - you will be the enteretainment of all the diners. Which is a mistake I made the first night... Children are also an issue- too many of them with parents unwilling to discipling so the noise levels are on the high decibel side.
There is also the gym instructor who does the rounds to all the breakfast tables flaunting an electric ab belt or dvd's and telling everyone to come to her class - um no thanks. Cold calling at breakfast???
There are also rooms right near the restaurant and the chairs are made of heavy metal so they scrape when moved and the staff when rearranging the tables and chairs don't bother and create a racket than even if the kids weren't around the pool there was pleasant metal scraping against concrete.
Value for money was also very poor.
Concierge was terrible as well - I wanted to book a taxi as I was moving to another hotel on the other side of the island and they said to call in the morning.
Then on the morning when I rang as told - they said all the taxis were booked out and I should call the bus - but the bus was 15 minutes away and I had a suitcase. But they were so unhelpful and they satisfied every negative French hotelier cliche possible.
I would not recommend this to anyone except for parents who want to go to a hotel where other parents also are too tired to have their kids behave so they won't need to be ashamed.

I am happy to have accommodated you and sorry if you were disappointed of your stay, but allow me to answer to different points of your deception.
First of all, at the restaurant, we propose a menu who changes every day. We are located 150m from the sea, and we work exclusivly with products of Terroir, what it means that fishes and sea-food are our speciality. But if you do not like fish, we propose every day some meat which is different each evening. You can consult the menu in the morning during the breakfast, but you are not obliged to mention your choice in the morning. You can do it when you want during the day, till the hour of the beginning of the service. For the desserts you had on the buffet, they are all house-made (Cherry Tiramisu, fine apple pie with vanilla ice-cream, glass casing of mango and pina-colada, etc…). This is not deep-frozen desserts. Furthermore, you could eat “à la carte” with a supplement if you wanted.
In the morning, European and American breakfast are served as a buffet to offer a maximum of choice: home-made jam, fresh fruits, pressed orange juice, eggs, bacon, hot drinks at will, a real gourmet breakfast.
We have got 2 swimming pools both open from 10.00am till 10.00pm. The first one is situated in the hotel part, all around which it is very pleasant to take the breakfast or diner. If you wanted to swim during the meal time, you could use the second pool situated in the residence hôtelière just behind the reception (you have seen it on your arrival).
Yoga on the beach is a quiet and free activity, provided by a professional, in the morning during the breakfast, for meetings on the beach, ideal to start the day.
Finally, a physical welcoming is provided at reception from 8.30am till 9.00pm. The concierge are here to answer your requests, and do the maximum to satisfy you. Booking a restaurant, another hotel, a taxi or whatever else, and they find a solution in case of problem. And I remember that we finally have found a car to bring at your next hotel. You did not have taken the bus.
