Admittedly it was raining quite heavily, there were crowds in town to see Le Tour de France and watch the free pop concert so the restaurant was quite full. After a seat change due to noisy children there was a wait of 40 minutes to be served a beer, no sign of an amuse-gueule in the interim, then another 10 minutes went by before the fish soup arrived. In all for a straight forward 3 course meal it took over 2 hours. The actual food was quite good without being exceptional though I was served a more expensive wine than I ordered. The staff were actually quite pleasant but seemed somewhat overwhelmed by events. The expression headless chickens came to mind. I certainly wouldn't risk it here again.
