Have stayed here 3 times now, never encountered any problems, check-in can be a bit slow at times. Layout of the rooms work well when travelling with a little one. Always try to book when there is an offer on as the rates can be high at times.
Worth spending the extra to have more space than the average hotel room.
Never have breakfast at the hotel, easy enough to go into Cite Europe over the road and get something.

Great big rooms so helpful with a family. Thought it was odd that there was no bar you just asked for drinks at reception which didn't really work that well. The only food you can obtain is from a little kiosk area where you can buy soup and cold snacks of which we didn't want and ended up going to the shopping centre. I would rate it a lot higher if I could have eaten and had a relaxing time in the hotel lounge rather than having to run over to an arcade. The rooms were immaculate and well presented.

Room Tip: You can get better places as a couple but a family with small children will find it a great place to...

Kettle didn't work - although a 'suite' it only had a microwave, small fridge and camp bed.
No food available in hotel ( although 4 stars ?) other than breakfast so we had to so to nearby Ibis. Might have been cheaper/more convenient to stay there in the first place !

I'd love to be giving this hotel a good review but when I turned up late in the evening with my family following a eurotunnel crossing I was very annoyed to be 'bumped' into the hotel next door due to 'technical difficulties'!! Having booked a suite for our party of three, months ahead I was surprised to be told with no advance notice that we had been moved to the cheaper and smaller Ibis next door! We weren't the only ones either - several other English families were affected. No compensation was given other than the offer of a complimentary breakfast which we couldn't take as we were leaving too early to benefit. So we were moved to a smaller and less well equipped room at no notice. If I was cynical I would say it was because we booked on their 40 per cent off sale and they simply didn't want to accommodate us at that price and were over booked. Very shoddy treatment which you wouldn't get away with in England due to the trade description act. An apology letter pre-prepared or an email ahead would have been appreciated. We won't be back...

First time we've stayed here, we normally stay at the Ibis next door. Rooms are good, you can even get a smoking room which is great as my wife and I both smoke. The only downside we found was that although there are facilities for making drinks in the room (i.e a kettle) there is very little sachets of coffee, tea, milk etc provided and only cardboard cups and woodoen stirrers. However we will be staying there again rather than the Ibis

I like this hotel for overnight or short breaks in Calais. It is my preferred option for the area. It is handy for the Eurotunnel terminus and also not far from the docks. The hypermarkets in City of Europe and Bleriot Plage - just west of Calais - are in easy reach. The hotel is clean and comfortable, not inspired but reliable in its presentation of its rooms and public spaces. The price is reasonable for this level of hotel. There is no restaurant - but you can eat in the hotel next door or in City of Europe or at Bleriot Plage eg The Bleriot bistro and brasserie on the site of the Auchan. Breakfast is available in the hotel and the bar is open until late. The staff speak English. Good value for the area and the accommodation.
