“Doesn't come fresher than this”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

If you like fish, you'll love this restaurant. It's not really a restaurant - more a Fishmonger with some tables where you'll be served seafood directly from the counter. The fish platter was enormous and the moules frites was also generous and tasty. Very, very busy so if you want a table outside, be sure to reserve one. We will definitely return on our next stop-off before the ferry back from Cherbourg to the UK.

“Great food in a busy restaurant.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2013

We managed to get a table around 21:00 without reservation on a Sunday after only waiting a rather short time. We got a table outside and it was obvious that it was a very busy evening. Some guests was asked to relocate during dessert in order to combine more tables to a big group. Loads of kids, and that does not count on the positive side - since our kids are grown up. We chose a la carte (they have several menus) and we got both mussels as starter. Delicious and a very big portion. To main I selected sole and my wife haddock. The sole was not big - but both dishes good and tasty. As dessert my wife got an excellent fondant with ice. We concluded with coffee and calvados and to the dinner we shared a cold Chardonnay. The bill landed around 90 euro for two and that was very reasonable. An excellent choice of restaurant for families and bigger group, for couples - I would chose the neighbor La Chasse Maree.

“A memorable meal with freshness the No 1 priority”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2013

We came to this restaurant twice during our week long stay and found the freshness of the fish to be unbeatable. The fish and frites were delicious and our 2 kids loved it. We tried the oysters, fish soup and Lobster and all were the best of our holiday. Very reasonable cost for food this good. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

“Very good fish!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

Right on the water, very good, fresh fish. The service was good, even in our broken French. And it was fast. The food was good and not expensive. I would definitely come back. It is in the fish store so if the smell of fish bothers you or you like fancy schmancy this might not be the place for you. But if you like really fresh, good fish, you'll love it!

“Really fresh fish straight from the boat”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

Only open at lunchtime when we were there, but recommendations regarding their fresh fish made us give it a try. Those eating the fish or prawns were very happy, whilst those going for the expensive choices of lobster and/or langoustines found them to be distinctly average with the lobster pretty tasteless and chewy.
