“Food Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

The food was very good food with generous proportions. Somewhat better than what one normally finds in a hotel restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. The cashier was also very friendly.

“Got to come here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

We stayed at the Quality Inn in New Market and tried the restaurant called Johnny Appleseed. What a great place. We had dinner there and Moon was our waitress. She knows and cares about her customers needs. She went out of her way to make sure our meal was perfect. By the way the fried chicken was some of the best I ever ate. We also had breakfast there and again the food was great. Caty our waitress made us feel right at home.

“Air Conditioning Too Cold”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Food was good but restaurant was much too cold. We asked to be moved to a warmer area of the restaurant. When we moved to another area is was better but still too cool for comfort.

“ONE GREAT STOP”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

We ate at johnny appleseed for three days and never had a bad meal. The buttermilk biscuits were hot, light and buttery, the service was friendly and quick. We had steak, chicken pot pie ,
fried chicken, french toast apple dumplins and sausage gravy......not all at the same time :). They have a gift shop and everybody from the hostess to the busser is willing to give you directions or chat for a bit......it was an all around small town good grub super nice place to visit!!!!
