If you enjoy the fois gras, "grottes", walnuts and landscape of the Perigord region of France, then this charming B&B will make your trip perfect. Located in Domme, a walled medieval town, high on a hill with sweeping views of the valley below, Cote Figue is a gem in this area. The owner Michele Friedrich, a former chef and owner of a restaurant in Alsace, is as delightful as her place is charming and as her meals are delicious. Her breakfasts are scrumptious, and she wil prepare what ever you wish, from a duck cassoulet to fois gras for dinner. There is a heated pool. The location makes it a perfect base for visits to Beynec, La Roc Gageac, Sarlat and the famous caves of the area. .Everything about Cote Figue from its terrace overlooking the valley, to the oh so charming room decor, is delightful. The town of Domme is wonderful to explore. Domme has long been a vacation spot for the French as well as other Europeans with its area's lushness and temperatures. We cannot wait to return, and Cote Figue is a big part of that reason!
