We stayed here on a recent visit to Granada. What a great place. It is at least a 4 star place. When you first walk in you feel like you have been taken back in time to the 19th century. It almost feels like you are visiting a museum. Antique furniture decorate the place and once you are in your room you get a very well equipped room with all the amenities including a refrigerator, a beautiful bed, wi-fi. Some rooms have a balcony view on the second floor (ask for it), there is a small swimming pool. It is quiet and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is typically included and you can choose from a limited menu. However, the food is very good and the staff at the restaurant is very helpful. Although not in the menu, the chef made a special request due to our dietary restrictions. We highly recommend this place. It is one of the best hotels in Granada. We used to stay at the Alhambra, but it seems that the Alhambra is now run down and La Gran Francia is the place to stay in Granada.
