“Good time!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2014

The chocolate making class here was really fun! They let us choose between Spanish and English, then walked us through roasting, peeling, and crushing the beans, and then using the paste to make Mayan, Aztec, and European drinking chocolates. After that, they showed us how they temper the chocolate for chocolate bars, and we got to mix in all sorts of garnishes to make our own chocolate bar! They taught us a lot of facts about the process and the history of chocolate-making along the way. Our instructor was really fun and engaging, and the chocolate was delicious! It's a little pricey, but we thought it was worth it, and would definitely recommend it to others!

“Great activity especially for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2014

The instructor was great with kids and it was very informative! A little pricey compared to some of other activities in the area, but overall worth it ($49usd) for 2 adults and 1 kid. Really liked that not only did we get to make our own chocolate bars, but also got to make and sample 3 different traditional/ historical chocolate drinks (Mayan, Aztec and European).

“Kids LOVED it While Moms got to sit and Watch...WIN-WIN!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2014 via mobile

The instructor is great with kids, we have two 5 year olds that were completely intrigued for two hours!! We could sit and watch their progress from a close table with tea/coffee. They made their own chocolate bares from bare scratch, crushing their own cocoa beans!! Great time for all!!

So much fun! Worth the $20 for the lesson. Our instructor was hilarious and fun to work with. Also I'd recommend their $6 all you can eat breakfast!
