“Wow!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013

My first time to El Marlin. Good service, great food in a quiet out of the way location. I had the combination, lobster, fish, and shrimp. Recommend to anyone visiting Granada with a taste for seafood!

“Don't miss this restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2013

A large group of us went here for dinner. Since there were 20 of us we had pre-ordered. We had two great tables and the food was superlative. The ceviche dishes were the best I've ever had anywhere!!! We ordered several of them for the tables. The presentation was beautiful and appetizing as well. Several people were trying ceviche for the first time and loved it.

The entrees for the group were all above good and again the presentation was fantastic. But the real surprise was the dessert. My experience in Nicaragua has been dessert is usually an afterthought but this one and there was only one was worth the calories and going back just to have it.

I loved the décor especially the original art by the proprietor. She's a real artist and it shows in her food. The prices were especially reasonable Her motto of gourmet food at moderate prices is accurate. Enjoy.

“Great Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

We were in Granada for a month and returned to this restaurant often. We met a variety people in this restaurant and learned it is a favorite of ex-pats and locals alike. The portions are large and the food fresh. The service is also excellent. We especially enjoyed the dinner for 2 which was more like a dinner for 4!

“El Marlin - I won't forget you!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

You have to try the Causa Limena - que delicia. I have visited Granada several times and never had a dinner like this one. The passion fruit ceviche was unlike any other I've tasted. I'm from the San Francisco area and wish they were here! Gracias, Karla y Bosco!

“Ceviche extraordinaire”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2013

Wow...what an ideal place to relax and enjoy some fantastic ceviche with delightful sauces to accompany it. The ceviche is what stood out the most for our group, and it is a MUST. The shrimp and fish are delicate, not too overcooked with the lime, and the 3 different sauces are very distinctive and divine. The fish dishes were superb, including guapote served with mixed veges inside, or served mediterranean style with tomatoes, onions and herbs. Very courteous service, along with attendance by the humble owner checking in to make our experience the best ever. Highly recommend it.
