“Warm, welcoming, delicious, and fun restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

El Camello was certainly a highlight of my stay in Granada. The food is fantastic! Very fresh ingredients and the chef is a master with spices, every bite revealed something new. There were three in our party and we all just about licked our plates clean! The staff and owner are especially nice, and we even were treated to impromptu live music by a very talented singer/guitarist (he used a broomstick to set up his microphone). The garden area is beautiful--just remember to bring some mosquito repellent!

All and all a stellar restaurant! Great staff, food, and ambiance. GO HERE

“Quite Good For Nicaragua”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 5, 2013

We really enjoyed dinner at El Camello. The atmosphere was casual and friendly, and the service was good. We had drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. Everything was great. I've never had fried avocado before and was pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say that it was fantastic middle eastern food, but it was very good and one of the better meals that we had while in Nicaragua. We also thought that the prices were very fair for what was served. I'll be sure to eat here the next time we are in Granada.

“Tasty and wallet friendly”

This menu has an interesting mix of Mediterranean, Moroccan and Thai food. Everything we had was good including the fried avocado.

“Such tasty food!”

I love their pitas. Any of there chicken shwarma dishes are fantastic, but the one with the garlic cream cheese is particularly great.

“Just go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Excellent food, good, friendly service, in a relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the camel toes - because it's funny - and they were delicious! Beautifully seasoned goodness. The fresh juices, excellent salad, and succulent tagine made for a perfect meal. Highly recommended.
