“good!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2012

If you are looking for a good hotel in Granada I should say: go to La Mar Dulce. There are really nice rooms, it is clean, there is a fan and an airco in the rooms. By the way: just using the fan is sufficient. After strolling through town, it is refreshing to have a swim in the pool and a drink in the bar afterwards. Last but certainly not least: the staf is really very friendly , helpful and attentive. Enjoy your stay!

We came to this hotel as our first stop in Nicaragua and had no expectation, however the hotel is SUPERB! It is a 15 min walk from the touristic area which is nice and quite and you get to know the real city life. The room is great: a/c and fan, hot water, clean towels, Private bath, comfy bed. And the price also includes a local breakfast, or some fruits.
Excellent For those who wants to experience the city, and come bac to a comfy quite room.
Highly recommended (:

I stayed at this hotel with 17 fellow women cyclists at the end of a 450km bike ride in 42C heat from the Panama Canal, through Costa Rica, to Granada, Nicaragua and it was such a treat - especially the pool around which the ground floor rooms are sited. It's location is not in the centre - about a ten minute walk away - which makes it quieter than other hotels. The staff at reception spoke good English and helped with recommendations for places to eat, providing town maps to help us locate the most interesting places to visit during our two day stay. Rooms were a good size, beautifully serviced with hot water and air conditioning. Our group size was a very good test of the hotel and it's staff and they passed with flying colours.

After a very long day of travel we arrived around 10pm to a wonderful quaint hotel. The staff were very polite and kind and though we had a language barrier as I couldn't speak Spanish we got through the process of check in smoothly. The room was clean and nice and cool. The room opened onto the beautiful pool. Very serene! The breakfast was included in the $70.00 for two . They made both a Nica breakfast and American it was delicious . I can't wait to go back for another stay!

Very nice room, quiet, staff wonderful...It's THE place in Granada !
Breakfast and his buffet are succulent...With Oasis, i think that this hotel is the best in this town...Cheap and comfortable, i like the pool in the night...It's a good place to sleep and to swim with a cocktail for exemple... :-)

You can not go wrong with this hotel. Everything about it is perfect. I wish I could live there. If you want to book a place in Granada and not have to worry about...anything....this would be the place. Aside from beautiful rooms and its decorations, the staff is first rate. You will not be disappointed.

Although expensive by Nicaraguan standards, you get what you pay for, this is by far the best hotel in Granada. The hotel grounds are pristine, the breakfast buffet is the perfect way to start the day, the pool is the most refreshing oasis to take a dip in after a long hot day in the Granada humidity, and the staff are phenomenal. Seriously, the people make this hotel worth every penny; from the front desk staff, to the maids, to the breakfast staff, even the pool guy!

Thank you. Hope to see you soon
