You can not come to Granada without checking out and checking into this "hostel." I had been to two other hostels and one was horrible and the other was nearly so, before I looked at this one. It is old colonial style, with beautiful gardens, pool and orginal art on the walls. This is a beautiful house that has been converted to a hostel on one side and a hotel (being built with craftsman) on the other. The furniture is custom made and the matresses are the best I have had in Centeral America. The price is a bit higher then other hostels ($12) for a dorm but then you get what you pay for. Yes, you can get a hostel room for $6 a night elsewhere, but at $12 a night for what you get is CHEAP.
The kitchen has a working real gas stove as well as a gas grill for grilling. It also has a refrigorator that works extremely well. There is also HOT water. What a difference that makes for comfort!
Don't walk but run to this quiet, peacful and stunning hostel.
