My girlfriend and i loved this hotel . It has a beautiful courtyard and a wonderful atmosphere. Esther and hazel a great hosts and lovely giving people. The breakfast was delicious, the hammocks swing nicely and there is a great vibration all around.

anyone with the money should book this place.... but do it early cos its hard to get a spot.

Room Tip: the top floor has the most amazing bed ever.

This B&B was absolutely amazing!

We stayed at Casa Cubana on the last leg of our 3 week trip. So lucky we did!

The hotel itself is perfection...could not have asked for a better place to stay. I loved everything about it. It was one of the best places we stayed on our trip.

The rooms are magnificent...large and homey. I could have just stayed inside the whole time but, alas, my travelling partners made me venture out and see the city. All well worth it I might add!

Lots of restaurants and scenic things to do. I highly recommend riding the local bus...cheap and really funnnn!

Safety was not an issue...people are very friendly and helpful. I will admit to being apprehensive to go out after dark, but once I was out there, it was totally fine!!

Esther is fabulous. She helped us with everything we needed...and let me tell you, we are a needy bunch! She went above and beyond helping us with all our needs.

All I can say is you must stay here! You will not regret it!!

Please make sure you stay in for the breakfast! Hazel is top notch and makes amazing banana pancakes. As well as other goodies for you to nosh on!

Best experience ever! Cant wait to go back!

Room Tip: Any room would be a good room!

Really enjoyed staying at Casa Cubana. A charming little "casa" not too far from the center plaza of Granada. Clean rooms, nice social area, and delicious breakfast and coffee in the mornings. Esther is a great "hostess" who is not only warm and welcoming but really enjoys helping guests get the most of their stay in Granada. Upon arrival until the time we left Esther was always available and friendly and helped point us in the right direction for good food and fun experiences. I highly recommend staying at Casa Cubana and can't wait to return!

You enter this haven from a street about 5 blocks away from the centre of town. When you walk in thru the main doors you are immediately confronted with just a beautifully renovated old mansion that has been done up wonderfully. There is a small swimming pool in the middle of the courtyard of the hotel which is great to plunk yourself down in after touring around all day. The rooms are very large and have fans and air conditioning. There is hot water! You eat breakfast around a kitchen table that makes you feel like you are visiting a good friends home. The banana pancakes whipped up one morning were some of the best pancakes I've ever had. The whole atmosphere of the place sucks you in and you feel like you never want to leave.

The host, Esther is from Canada and is great. Whatever she recommended, be it a tour or a restaurant turned out terrific. Most of all, she is honest as the day is long. Unlike certain hotel operators we encountered on our travels in central america, there was no hidden commissions back to the hotel or "quick buckness" business going on. Esther was a professional in Canada and she runs this wonderful place the same way. It is great to stay in a warm welcoming place with someone you can trust.

The place is set up so that you interact with other guests if you like and it seems that this small hotel attracts a really nice sort of guest. We enjoyed the other people we met there over morning coffee in the courtyard. The hotel is also a great value which is icing on the cake.

I highly recommend this place and Granada as a whole.

This place is amazing, rooms are spacious and luxurious, the breakfast is excellent, everything is within walking distance and the vibe of Casa Cubana is really something special!
And even more special is the hostess Esther! We stayed at Casa Cubana for four days and Esther really made us feel like home. Showing us all the nice restaurants, where to drink the best mojitos and just making us feel like "a part of the Casa Cubana family".
If you go to Granada STAY HERE! We'll definitely come back if we're in Granada again...

Casa Cubana in Granada was our last stop in Nicaragua and we could not have asked for a better place to complete our trip. It is conveniently located within walking distance of most attractions in Granada, but just slightly outside the center, so was quiet as well. We did not feel uncomfortable walking at night, however, cabs were readily available and inexpensive. A local bus stop for the bus to the market in Masaya was just across the street should you want to get out and explore areas other than Granada. Wifi was available in all rooms and common areas.

Our room, the Saffron, was great, and overlooked the courtyard and pool. The room was huge by most hotel or B & B standards and was clean, comfortable, and inviting. We also cannot say enough wonderful things about Esther, Casa Cubana's manager, and Hazel, who provided a hearty, delicious breakfast each morning. Esther was very knowledgeable about Granada and able to suggest things to do, restaurants to try, etc. She was also extremely helpful before we even arrived in Nicaragua, answering numerous emails and arranging transportation to and from Granada.

Overall, we would highly recommend Casa Cubana and would most definitely stay there again should we return to Granada!

This small hotel/B and B is located just a few blocks from the main downtown area of Granada. It's beautifully appointed and the rooms are large, airy and comfortable. The host, Esther, is extremely pleasant and helpful and the breakfasts, which are included, were terrific. The common areas were lovely and it began to feel like home after only a short stay. Only one negative that I can think of: bring earplugs for a good sleep. That's pretty much normal for a downtown location however so I can't really complain about it. I highly recommend this place, loved it.
