“See monkey island”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This was a pleasant, mellow trip to see all the cute little islands and the monkey island. Make sure to tell the boat driver to go by it and get some fun pictures.

“Small Islands Built by Volcanos”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

The boat tour of several islands was both enjoyable and educational. Some islands are beautifully decorated with private homes and businesses open to the public. Check out monkey island and the island dedicated as a cemetery. Many locals living on the islands rarely go to the mainland. The school bus for children is a boat; how cool is that

“great views of Volcan Mombacho”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

we took the longer boat tour, both sides of the peninsula, so saw the tiny islands inhabited by long-time residents, mostly fishers, as well as those with much fancier houses of the Nicaraguan elite (and some Americans). Super picturesque and pleasant.

“Relaxing and Worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 29, 2012

Relaxing and lovely. Saw monkeys on one of the islands. Stopped at another island for snack and beverage. Worth the 2.5 hours it took.
