Very very good restaurant, located in the south of koh Chang. Big plates and friendly staff. Very nice food! We're here in low season (July) but there still open (compared to most other restaurants on the island) don't miss this place!

“What can I say....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

This restaurant is the perfect place to eat, meet people, have a drink or just chill out on a rainy day.

The food is tasty ; from traditional Thai or Cambodian meal to awesome western burgers, all the family will find its way.

The staff is kind, friendly and helpful. They ll gladly talk to you and you won't have that feeling that they just want your money. The chief is an expert in culinary art and whatever you ask she ll do ! The owner staiphane can speak many language and got so many stories to tell, you can spend the afternoon talking with a drink.

All the plants trees and flower, mixed with the music help you to relax.

The tamarin is the perfect spot, not only to eat but as well to meet people interesting and fun as well as relax and enjoy your holiday on the island.

I'll be back...

“Great service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2013 via mobile

I lived at green cottage resort for 9 days, just a few minutes frem the restaurant. I ate here twice a Day everyday! The staff is wonderfull, they are from Cambodia and they are so Nice! Everytime I came there I was chatting with Them for a long time, they even drove me Down to a gym i couldn't find. You have to go on this restaurant if you're In the area :-). I would highly recommend the cheese burger and the fried Rice with chicken, it's very tasty :-)

“good fresh food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

A lovely local family restaurant that serves fresh tasty food. We visited this restaurant several times during our stay and were welcomed each time.
I would suggest a visit to this restaurant to sample freshly prepared and cooked food, from point of order. We sampled several different dishes on each visit and were not disappointed with any. All the food was quality, the service was excellent and the owner/family very friendly.
We found visiting some restaurants the menu to be too large and it would take me half an hour to decide what to order. Not so here, the menu while not being huge would offer a dish for any taste, we were very much into sampling as much of the local food as possible but I need a small amount of chili, partner needs a lot. Seasoning of each dish, each visit was checked so there was never any disappointment.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
