WE ended up at this lovely little joint after a long walk along the ghats of the Narmada River. This cafe is on the way to the fort just after you enter the main gate from the city side.
The green vegetation between the road and building drew our attention. WE thought of it as a someone house, however, were surprised to find that it was actually a cafe. We took a small snack and coffee break.
The place serves very good food at reasonable rates. Coffee was INR 25 in November 2011. Served in china with seating.
The toilet was very clean and well maintained.
The place is owned by someone who was associated with the royal family once. The cafe has couple of rooms for hire (approx price INR 1250/room). We have not checked the room, but going by the public toilet, they must be good and clean.
