“See it in the USA”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

It was fun. The road needs work. But I will never get to see the real stonehenge. We visited around 8am. the sun was coming up. Nice shadows.

“LOVED this place!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

I was driving to West Va on the back roads and spotted the sign for Foamhenge- I am a sucker for all things "henge" so I quickly turned the car around to check it out.

What a hoot! It's on the top of a fairly steep hill and is a quite striking photo op. There is a bench about half way up so if you need to take a break you can. I don't think you could get a wheel chair or scooter up that way but there was a road on the right side that ended up at the exhibit itself so there may be way up there in a car- I did see 2 trucks up there with lawn mowers perhaps you would need a truck.

It's a great FREE 15 min stop to let the kids run around (no touching the stones) and get their sillies out! Heck even adults can do that if they want.

There's a theory about how the original Stonehenge was formed- complete with a figure of Merlin flying the stones into place. Fun!

“The Price is right”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012

This is a Free attraction. You don't see that price very often so you should stop by anytime you are in the Natural Bridge area. It looks just like the real stonehenge as long as you don't look real close. It is made up of foam beads and actually does look like the real thing from a distance. If you visit make sure you park in the area just as you go in and walk up the hill on your left. There is a "road" that goes up to the top but the sign says it is for handicap persons. If you should use it, beware, it is not maintained. It is full of ruts and is really no better than a washed out cow path. I would not recommend stopping here right after a rain as there are lots of muddy areas. In all, not a bad place to visit and as I said....The price is right.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 6, 2012

how could one not stop here... great work by Mark Cline. Thank you Mark for making this cool sculpture and letting it be free to the public. Kids loved it too! whole visit takes less than 16 minutes and right off highway.
