Selected this B&B over the internet and the location exceeded our expectations. The house is a lovely (1812) brick home in the countryside but very convenient to I-81. The house and grounds are in superb condition and very charming. The rooms are very comfortable.
The owner, Anne Herring, is very pround of her family's home place and is a charming and gracious host. Sitting on the front porch enjoying a glass of Merlot on a nice fall day certainly reinforces the decision to forego motels for the adventure of B&B's.
The nearby Pink Cadilac Diner and the Town of Lexington are not to be missed. Anne directed us to a great restarunt for dinner.
All in all, a great value and a fun place to rest and relax before resuming your travels.
