This family owned coffee shop has done everything right, from the beginning, and I just can't get enough of this place. I have had coffee and/or a sandwich there 2-3x a week for the year and a half it has been open.
The owners and their employees are always welcoming, provide good service and remember your name after the first visit. The space is cozy and inviting, difficult to leave, actually, and a cool relief on a hot day. Free Wifi brings many people in, and it is possible to work in peace or socialize. I love sitting at the front window and watching Middleburg go by.
The coffee is excellent and consistent, from regular drip to Breve.
Local artists take turns displaying their artwork each month, some have sold quite a few pieces!
The outside seating area is perfect, with umbrellas for hot or rainy days, the interior features plenty of tables, as well as 2 bar areas and 3 leather chairs near the back.
Common Grounds has become a Middleburg favorite with me, a great place to relax or recharge.
