I tried Depot Grille today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere was pretty cool, including an old bar back that was reportedly shot up by Jesse James and benches at the tables taken from an old closed down church. I ordered a roast beef sandwich and it was great. The horseradish dip it came with was tasty without being overpowering. The sauteed mushrooms weren't terribly excellent for my tastes, but there wasn't anything specific wrong with them.
I'm giving the restaurant a 4 instead of a 5 only because the food itself is not terribly unique, but I would definitely recommend it for a general dining out occasion. The American fare will appeal to just about anyone and the prices were pretty average, so I'd choose this place over a standard chain.
