Me and my husband stayed in the hotel for our 5th wedding anniversary, the room was large, very clean. The whole hotel was beautiful they did excellent when modeling they put just enough new while keeping the while keeping some of the original aspects of the building. The shoebox on the bed was a very nice touch.

Chose for a 'girls getaway' weekend and it was a delightful visit. The large, high-ceiling rooms are sumptuously decorated, beds are sooo comfortable, the shoe- shine-box breakfast was delightful. The entire staff were extremely cordial. Food at the adjacent restaurant, Shoemakers, was great. We also went to a nearby spa which has discount packages for Craddock Terry guests. Will definitely return.
Only one 'minus' - while the walk-in shower was quite sizable the water pressure was poor.

Worth a stop on a trip. Shuttle from train station was a real benefit! Morning "shoe box" breakfast was wonderful. The Granite Room is just below the restaurant and that provided some problems with noise from upstairs during our meeting. Restrooms were inconvenient to our meeting. The food for the meeting was great, especially the chicken. The service staff during the meeting were great and unobtrusive. Convenient to downtown restaurants with two excellent restaurants located in the hotel. Overall, a great place for a small meeting and I would recommend it. I hope our group goes back.

Room Tip: Ask to stay in rooms 501-510 if coming for an event in the event center.

Stayed here for a retreat/meeting and it was wonderful. The hotel is adorable, clean and comfortable, it is close to restaurants and they even offer 1 free continental breakfast in AM to your room-left in a wooden shoe box by you door.

Room Tip: The train runs close by the hotel so ask for a sleep machine at the front desk if you are a light sl...

Super clean, renovated shoe factory with all the original factory details - wooden beams, brick walls, large windows, even the original factory safe. Every room is different showcasing the history of the building. Attentive serivce and even a hotel dog that welcomes you. There is a corporate rate available if you are doing business with a local company.

The hotel was converted from an old shoe warehouse! It was so charming! And, of course, the theme was shoes! Each door has a different shoe on it !!
Excellent service and superior staff attentiveness!

Room Tip: the hotel is located near a railroad track which is used, so you definitely can hear the train but t...

My husband and I love to get away whenever we can and the Craddock Terry is the perfect place. We love the hospitality - the wonderful rooms and incredibly comfortable beds. They always have a surprise in the lobby - a wonderful cake or homemade cookies. Breakfast is so unique to the Craddock Terry - you'll have to put your shoebox out for early treats! Their signature restaurant - Shoemakers - is one of our best finds in years! This is a perfect place for couples as well as business retreats. We'll be back!

Room Tip: Every room we have ever had - was wonderful!
