“an amazing cabin up on a hill”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

we found harmony hill by chance, looking through the virginia bed and breakfast association's list of B&B's. We picked it because it was out of the way, affordable and i liked the theme of music running throughout the place because my husband and i are musicicans. We ended up getting there late, but Cherie was pleasent and inviting and welcomed us in. The room was fantastic. It was so quiet up there and just what we were looking for. Everything, the bed, the breakfast, the scenery, was absolutly amazing and we will be back. Cherie and her husband do an outstanding job at Harmony Hill. We will recommend Harmony Hill to our freinds and my husband and I will definatly stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful getaway!!

Room Tip: we stayed in the minuet room. but all rooms are gorgeous and have king size beds!!!

HH is an amazing weekend getaway. Everyone smiles and is eager to please. We feel a warm welcome each time we return. The rooms, view and breakfast are perfect. We have recommended HH to anyone looking for a quiet weekend with their significant other.

We had the most incredible stay at Harmony Hill. When we arrived late in the evening from our long drive from Florida we were welcomed by the soft glow of the quaint cabin at the top of the long drive. Entering we were immediately soothed by the warmth of the home and thankful to find treats and something warm to drink. More surprises awaited as we made our way to the second floor to our cozy from which had every comfort one would need. After a refreshing night's sleep we awakened to the most delicious aromas and made our way to the dining area. With a perfect view of the outdoors and all the birds we were greeted by Cherie who served us an incredible homemade breakfast. Several cups of coffee later we headed out to explore the area and after a full day of activities looked forward to the comforts of Harmony Hill. All in all, we cannot say enough about our stay except that we look forward to returning. TOP NOTCH in every aspect. J&H

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderful.

We stayed at Harmony Hill B&B for our anniversary and plan a trip to Monticello. Our room was wonderful, very comfortable bed, nice seating area and a fireplace. It was a very nice place to relax after a day of driving around the area in the snow. Mark and Cherie were very hospitable and great host. The breakfast that Mark made in the morning excellent and more than you could eat. We really enjoyed the different tables to sit and eat if you wanted to be alone or with another couple. This was the first B&B that we stayed at that offered 24 hour baked goods, snacks, coffee, tea, and cold drinks. We had a wonderful experience and plan on staying there next time in warmer weather to enjoy the porch and rocking chairs.

We stayed at Harmony Hill B&B for two nights and are so glad we chose this location. Our room was just as pictured on the website, with a very comfortable bed, seating area, and whirlpool tub. Mark was very hospitable and made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was beyond what we expected- hot, delicious, and a great way to start the day. We enjoyed reading in the rocking chairs on the porch with our coffee, and the dog was friendly and provided a pleasant distraction. The complimentary drinks and snacks were a bonus, as well. Harmony Hill B&B provided the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing, romantic weekend and allowed us to unwind in peace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will look forward to coming back soon.

This was the cleanest B&B I have ever seen. Very very clean and organized. The snow greeted us before we arrived. They were ready and waiting for our arrival and Mark offered to pickup a pizza for us. That was magnificent, since we were barely able to drive there due to the heavy snow. The room was fantastic. The entire stay was complimented by good hosts and guests, snacks available at no extra cost and a very comfortable bed. The only negative for the whole stay was the coffee. The Gevalia pods and powdered additives just don't match the quality of the B&B. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Staying at the B & B was an absolutely wonderful experience. Mark and Cherie were both very pleasant and hospitable. The breakfast was excellent and the room was very nice and clean. However, the best thing was the additional items such as coffee, tea and snacks that were available at all times and at no charge! Anywhere else, we would've had to pay for them.

Room Tip: The Sonata was an excellent choice for a couple!
