This was truly one of the best Bed and Breakfasts we have been to. We stayed in the "log cabin suite" which included a 2 level area to ourselves with sitting room, 2 bathrooms, and a huge bedroom. Everything felt as though we had stepped back in time. The rooms were furnished entirely in antiques stemming from the 1700's when the log part of the house was constructed. The grounds are spectacular. There is a pool area where you can look into the fields at the horses while relaxing by the pool. There are incredible areas all over the grounds where all different sorts of flowers, herbs etc. are planted. Truly this is just a spectacular place and the Hostess, Jean Brown just makes it all the more special.
We woke up to a made to order breakfast every morning that was so yummy we never wanted to leave. Jean is just a very special person and allows you to enjoy her wonderful B&B with as much privacy as you want while at the same time always being there for any questions etc. She even showed us a few magazines she had pulled aside for us with things she thought we would enjoy while in the area.
If you want a truly unique, beautiful and peaceful Bed and Breakfast stay, you will find it here. From Jean's exemplary cooking to the gorgeous grounds and lovely rooms, here is where you will find the perfect blend of hospitality, privacy and true beauty of a special area of the US.
