“A SHINY DIAMOND”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 days ago NEW via mobile

What a gem. My husband and I were traveling home and stopped at this inn. This inn has it all. The feeling that you get when staying at the George's is like you are home. The customer service is excellent. From the minute we checked in until the moment we checkout it was phenomenal. Taps the food is excellent. Dinner was so fresh and tasty. Alex the chef and Kelly the server wonderful. Denise did breakfast she was very nice; cooked a great breakfast. The management staff was awesome. Nancy checked us in sweet as could be. What a place for baby boomers to relax and enjoy.
We stayed in room 8 luxury yet cozy and homey. It is one of those places you stay and want to return. No need to use your car just park and relax. We want to try Haywood's a Resturants owned by the hotel. It will be our next venture when returning to George's. Five stars is really not enough; I give it ten stars.

I checked in to the Georges 1/31/2015. i was greeted by the friendliest check in desk iIhave ever been.. hot chocolate and home made cookies available in the lobby. My room was spacious and appointments and detail as nice as the Greenbriar. Wooden louvered shades for sun and a bed to die for with thick linens and fabulous pillows! I had drink at Taps the Homey warm lounge and special event room that just opened . You would think you were in a bar restaurant venue in nantucket. Dinner at hayseeds which is across the street was fabulous .. said topped with the most delicious Salmon I've ever had. everybody in my party raved about their choices.. Again the friendliest staff you can imagine. Great piano player . Everybody joined in when familiar songs were. being sung.. To sum Up! Absolutely delightful in every Aspect. can't wait until my next trip! Price to value a bargain! You gotta go!

Room Tip: U can't make a mistake! Rooms over Haywood's the Creme de Le Creme!

My husband and I made the trip to Lexington to celebrate his birthday and cannot wait to return! We originally booked the queen room and once arrived upgraded to the king room, and we are so happy we did. The queen room was just as charming as the other rooms but a little small. The king room we ended up in was perfect. Enough space to relax and spend time in without breaking the bank. Decor is beautiful, and while modern, still maintains a small town feel. The bathroom was top-notch, complete with heated towel racks, heated floors and a soaking tub.

The Georges is worth a trip to Lexington!!

Room Tip: The queen room that we originally booked was a bit small; charming and beautiful but small. We upgra...

Our family (2 adults and 2 kids) spent two nights at the Georges around New Years. The room and beds were excellent. I don't usually sleep well away from home but I actually did here! The small touches were everywhere from the heated bathroom floor to the hot chocolate with homemade marshmallows in the afternoon. The scones at breakfast were the best that I have had. I hope to come back again.

Room Tip: We had a mid-priced room and it was very nicely sized for our family.

The rooms are gorgeous, the staff is efficient & friendly & the location is prime. The Georges boutique hotel has it all! The only downside? It is a boutique hotel so the number of available rooms is limited. :(

Gentle southern charm and hospitality;
Gorgeous rooms, common areas and restaurants;
Genuinely thoughtful and attentive staff;
Truly amazing food.
And, this is all true -- I'm really hard to please and have found this experience at each of more than five stays at The Georges.
