My friend and I both agree that this is on of the nicest Holiday inns in which we have since last in North Carolina.
The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean with two large comfortable chairs in the room in which we both coule sit in and have a nice conversation without one of us having to sit on bed which becomes very uncomfortable after a while.
The main thing that we liked was the big bathroon which gave us both room to place our cosmetic cases on the counter and not have to take turns getting in each others way while we got ready to go out. This gave us more time out of the hotel in the morning to explore the beautiful town of Lexington.
Because I am lactose intolerant and vegeterian my breakfast experience was not that great. Non-dairy spread
was not available nor was there much of anthing but oatmeal and toast for me.
There was a rather large wedding party there during our stay and surprisingly we heard no noise during the three days we there from the group. The banquet hall is in the basement and that made our stay better plus the wedding party did not have to worry about distrubing others in the hotel.
Really the only negative was the noisy A/C unit that woke us up all during the night when it cycled on.
My friend and I agree that we would both stay here again in heart beat!
