“Large clean room at a reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Staying in Lexington was a last minute decision due to bad weather moving in. We called around lunchtime and found the AAA rate to be reasonable. We had a king room on the 4th floor and it was huge. There was room for another bed in it. It seemed very clean and the furniture was in good condition. The bathroom was also fine. The wi-fi worked very well. Breakfast was good: scrambled eggs, bacon, pork sausage, a waffle maker, and an assortment of breads and yogurt. No english muffins but we were happy with toast. The parking lot was well lighted so we felt our car was safe. We were happy with our impromptu stay and would stay here again. We were just passing through the area so I can't speak to its proximity to attractions.

Room Tip: There is no ice machine on the fourth floor; however, there is one right at the bottom of the stairs...

We stayed at this hotel during a last minute business trip. It was late at night when we checked in, and every other hotel we checked had no vacancy. We reluctently took this overpriced room out of desperation, as we were in need of sleep. Our room was on the third floor and the second the elevator door opened, we were hit with the most God awful stench of body odor! It seemed to permeate the whole hotel. Our room was fairly clean, however upon check out we found out they allow pets in this hotel and I am highly allergic. I now know why I was having sinus issues during the night. The continental breakfast was decent, however we had some ignorant guests in front of us who decided to top off their personal sized thermos's and drained the entire caraffe of coffee, leaving the rest of us with none. The hotel staff were in no rush to replenish it as they were busy dealing with the front desk, as well as keeping up with the breakfast area. I would not recommend this hotel.

They took my coupon this time and cost was reasonable. It was also busy again, pool busy night and morning, work out room not busy. All king rooms were gone but got nice queen on 4th floor and nice and quiet with nice view of rear. Note quieter than front rooms.
Room was clean but I did get crud out of two corners at floor side of tub. Gave to front desk.
Breakfast was busy early but nice and quiet later and lots of food and drinks.
Front desk helpful and many restaurants near by, including Country Cooking where I ate and it was better than before and had new grilled meatloaf. Not bad, you should try it.

Room Tip: Rear rooms are quieter, you can tell how busy they are by the floor your room is on. Small pool, an...

Stayed here just for a night during labor day weekend. The room was spacious and clean. But a little pricey. Breakfast was very good. The managers were very prompt and friendly. Overall had a good experience.

Super location for getting back and forth to the Horse Center. Excellent breakfast. Rooms and linens showing wear. Not much investment in room furniture but beds were clean and comfortable. Shower was fine. With tax, bill for 1 night was $150, which is really on the high side for this quality level. It should be closer to $115-125, all in. But the show people are a captive audience for them. So it's best to book early in the season and see if you can't get a better group rate.

We were in town for My grandson entering VMI. Handy location ,but feel it could use some updating fr prices it charges. Breakfast was good. Plenty of choices for everyone. Very handy location. Stores and plenty of restaurants close by.

Room Tip: We were on the fourth floor. Very quiet.

We stayed for two nights with our two children. The rooms were clean, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good, and the small indoor swimming pool was fun for the kids. In spite of some of the negative reviews, our experience was very good, and we would recommend this hotel.
