Ever since they added sushi to their buffet, this has been a frequent stop for our family.
The sushi on the buffet is put out in small quantities so that it never sits for long. The sushi chef does a great job of watching it to know when to make more. So the sushi is fresh made. The rolls he puts on the buffet are simple, inexpensive rolls....spicy tuna with crunch, tuna and avocado, salmon and avocado, and California rolls. But these rolls are prepared well. The rice is seasoned nicely. The rice is a bit sweeter than most sushi places we go to, but I like it a lot. Not too sweet, just different than most places. I have ordered from the menu and the special rolls are very good too, but for the price I just eat myself silly with the simple rolls on the buffet.
The buffet itself has some very nice items. At least 8-9 entree items like shrimp and vegetables, beef and broccoli, kung pao chicken, sweet and sour chicken and several others. Very good flavor, nicely prepared. Steamed and fried rice (love their friend rice), lo mein, a couple of veggy dishes. teriyaki chicken on a stick (my boys' favorite!), crab rangoons, sweet donuts, egg rolls, and steamed dumplings. 4 soups....miso (they do an excellent job with their miso), vegetable, hot and sour and egg drop. All is very nicely done.
For the price this place just can't be beat in Leesburg. They offer children's pricing for the younger kids and considering they eat their weight in teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour chicken and the sweet donuts, we really feel it is a good value.
The service is friendly. We are always greeted with a smile. My drink glass never gets below half before they are filling it up for me. Plates are cleared promptly.
