Visited here on 9/14/13 before seeing a concert around the corner. At 6:00 on a Saturday evening the place was not very crowded despite an Art Festival going on in the streets this weekend. There was outdoor seating in the back but I didn't check it out.
Speed of service was acceptable although there seemed to be some confusion between the bartended and server both helping us. In addition to the standard American drafts there were roughly a dozen craft and/or microbrews on tap as well as Guinness. They were actually out of more than one listed beers and I finished another with the glass they poured for me. Seems like they have a good beer selection unless they are always out of a few. Three of us ordered the Fish and Chips which is listed as "voted #1 in Virginia" and one of us had the Chicken Marsala. The Fish and Chips was good but didn't seem special. There is a standard size order for $9.99 and a larger portion for $12.99. Despite the server's claim that the regular order was adequately large, if you have much of an appetite you'll want the larger order. According to my wife, the Marsala was average. Ultimately, if you dig British Pubs, this place will get the job done but it probably won't knock your socks off.
