Description: Tuscarora Mill, the cornerstone of Market Station, has been serving fine food & wine to its guests since 1985. Originally an operating grain mill, Tuscarora Mill has maintained the rustic interior & charm of the mill. Chef Patrick Dinh’s seasonal menus use the freshest of local produce. Signature dishes include Sesame Roasted Salmon, Roasted Lamb Chops & Portuguese-style Rockfish. To compliment the menu, Tuscarora Mill has an impressive wine list, winner of the Wine Spectacular Award of Excellence for the past 10 years. The in-house bakery, SouthStreet Under, prepares savory breads & decadent desserts daily. Affectionately known to the locals as Tuskie’s, this finer eatery also sports a relaxing bar, serving 22 beers on tap & a café menu. Whether it is a romantic dinner, a casual lunch or a corporate function, Tuscarora Mill will surely exceed your expectations.

“Always a great meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2012

The menu is the best and most imaginative in town. Preparation is uniformly good. Never has better Shirip and Grits anywhere.

“Totally pleased”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2012

Couldn't get a reservation in the dining room due to reservations for Christmas dinner parties, but we were seated promptly in the bar area. It was actually fairly quiet and conducive to a pleasant dining experience. Service by Jeff was exceptionally prompt and courteous. Menu choices ran the gamut, and all looked well thought-out. Our table had the trout, ribeye and meatloaf. All were perfect: tasty, seasoned as they should be (the meatloaf had a hint of thyme - unusual but delicious), served promptly, hot, well presented. We hadn't been there for years, but will put Tuscarora on our regular rotation. Highly recommended.

“Food is Fantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

Don't believe the reviewer who rated it 3 of 5 stars. This is by far our favorite restaurant in Northern VA. The food is exceptional (the waiter told us one of the reductions used in many of their sauces and gravies starts with 15 gallons of balsalmic and ends 3 days later with 1 gallon). The duck is wonderful, the carmelized beets with goat cheese dressing is amazing (and I grew up hating beets) and the meal is always an amazing experience. Love it love it love it.

“EXCELLENT!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

The food was exquisite. The beer selection was super. Hubs had the duck breast and I had the BBQ sampler and we shared the bread pudding. Everything was delicious. Service was impeccable, even on a very busy Friday evening.

“Beautiful Building”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Pretty place, expected so much more for the price. I'd guess maybe a hair better than average? Service was good - but should have been.
