We liked the Lobster bisque. I ordered the rockfish special, which was excellent. My friend had shepherd's pie, which she really enjoyed. Very nice service and good ice cream at the end! Very convenient if staying at the resort.

We had a great dinner here! The service was excellent and the food was wonderful!

This meal was such a disappointment to our group. We arrived for dinner at 7:30 and did not leave until 10pm. Sadly, this extended time was not due to our luxuriating in the food and drink. Rather, our waiter all but abandoned us throughout the meal. Initially we waited twenty minutes for him to take our drink order. Another twenty minutes passed and we had to hunt down another server to check on our drinks. When our waiter reappeared, we were missing a drink and my friend's cocktail was completely wrong. Keep in mind there were four of us, total. The waiter offered no apology for the delay and did not offer to remake the botched drink.

Sadly, the disappearing act continued throughout the meal, while we begged other servers for a bread basket and waited what seemed endlessly for our entree and deserts. We were certainly in no hurry and the restaurant was not busy so I cannot account for the lax service. Our only consolation for this terrible experience was the kind man refilling our waters. Also, as part of our vacation package we received a 25% discount from the meal. Could that be the reason for the shoddy service? Who knows. Ultimately the food was good but I would steer any visitors of Lansdowne far away from On the Potomac.

if you have $150 to spend on brunch for two. we dont usually, so it has been a special treat when we go. not where you load up the whole family for sunday meal. brunch offered some great seafood selections (including caviar) among other great main/side dishes and mediocre dessert options.
